What About that Logo?

Hal has tried to explain this silly logo by saying that his brother, John Wagenet was playing around with a rubber band and it formed a shape that inspired this logo. Hal calls him Bilgewater.

John is a splendid artist and created this archetypal logo which appeals directly to people's subconscious, sort of like a Rorschach. Someone referred to it as a bug, some one else referred to it as a monkey, an orangutan.
